Around 2 years ago, I was able to watch The Bloomfields at Dish where my Dad celebrated his birthday. Apparently, he loves The Bloomfields because they have the sound of my Dad’s generation. They would usually cover songs by the Beach Boys and The Beatles. I can still remember that they also played an original or two that same night.

EMI Music Philippines made an announcement that they’ve signed in the band. Their debut album (under EMI) will be released within this month. Included in the album is their first single “Wala Nang Iba”. The music video of their debut single will be seen soon on TV.

The Bloomfields is composed of JJ Lozano (lead guitar), Louie Poco (bass guitar), Pepe Lozano (electric guitar), Lakan Hila (piano, organ, keyboards) and Rocky Collado (drums).
